Abstract Based on ANSYS APDL finite element analysis software and B-R criterion combined with displacement equality criterion, the dynamic stability of cat-head transmission tower is analyzed. In this paper, static characteristics are analyzed first, wind load gradually increased according to speed gradient 5 m/s. The results show that cannot be normally served under 45 order analyze specific instability in detail, nonlinear buckling used tower. as follows: V 10 =43.65 Therefore, influence fluctuation should not ignored, fluctuating considered design
